If you have not heard yet, the state of New Jersey re-opened the fire arm black bear season. I'm not sure of dates or details, but one thing I can say is I live about 4-5 miles from New Jersey and over the last 4-5 years I have seen some world class black bears in both the woods and fields. Its not uncommon to see 400 pound bears in Jersey. Some even go in the high 500 pound range! Last year I was fortunate enough shot a 362 pound bear in the 2009 hunting season just three miles from New Jersey. We had a full body mount done and its almost ready for pick up. Please keep in mind that it really helps your accuracy when shooting a clean firearm. So dont let that 400lbs black bear, or that 145 inch Pope and Young whitetail you have been waiting for this season get away due to a dirty firearm. Give our cleaning kits a try and you won't be let down. REMINDER: Don't forget to send in your photos and have the chance to win a FREE cleaning kit if your photo is chosen for our Photo of The Month contest. Dave |
